About the layout elements of theme templates
The title section of all templates is generated from parameters in the frontmatter of our content files.
The theme presents the featured image at the top of your page and in preview cards. It’s also prepared for references in search engines and social networks.
The navigation between consecutive pages and the table of contents (TOC) is mostly generated from already existing data. We only need to set the additional weight parameter for documentation pages.
Browsers show the favorite icon in the tab, the address bar and before bookmarks. It may also be used as an application icon when the website implements the necessary functionality.
The general navigation includes a main menu and a social menu.
Every author or editor listed in the frontmatter field authors gets a personal page.

We can create arbitrary site-wide groups of content with joint taxonomy terms.
The theme is prepared to get indexed by Pagefind for a site-wide search and offers its UI on a separate search page.
Perplex offers configuration parameters to include site-wide scripts for tracking services. Currently Fathom and Google Analytics (GA4) are directly supported.
